Abstract:
A patient with a hydatidiform mole and coexistent live fetus is presented. This rare phenomenon occurs in 0.005-0.01% of all pregnancies. Correct antenatal diagnosis can be made with ultrasonography in conjunction with the presence of low human placental lactogen and raised beta-human chorionic gonadotrophin levels.
