Therapy-resistant diaper dermatitis in infants can signal a rare but serious condition, Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH). Early recognition of this skin manifestation is crucial for timely diagnosis and management of LCH.

  • LCH is a rare clonal proliferative disorder of Langerhans cells.
