  • Systematic review using PRISMA-ScR guidelines.
  • Searched terms included cancer, neoplasms, nature, and forest therapy.
  • Four researchers screened and selected 12 relevant articles.

Main Results:

  • 2786 cancer survivors across 12 studies were included.
  • Interventions showed improvements in anxiety, depression, sleep, and pain.
  • Participants identified nature as a primary coping resource.

Conclusions:

  • Nature is beneficial for cancer survivors during and after treatment.
  • Nature-based opportunities should be further explored and safely implemented for survivor well-being.
