Does statin use affect amyloid beta deposition and brain metabolism?

Statin drugs may slow amyloid-beta (Aβ) deposition in healthy individuals but do not impact cognitive impairment stages. Long-term statin use shows potential benefits in preventing Aβ buildup in the aging brain.
