Summary

Solid wastes (SWs) can be transformed into valuable carbon-based quantum dots (Cb-QDs) for diverse applications. This review explores sustainable synthesis of carbon quantum dots (CQDs), graphene quantum dots (GQDs), and graphene oxide quantum dots (GOQDs) from SWs.
