Invited for the cover of this issue are the groups of Alexander Marchanka at the Leibniz University of Hannover and Björn Corzilius at the University of Rostock. The image depicts the local generation of nuclear spin hyperpolarization, which selectively "illuminates" the interaction surface of a ribonuclear protein complex for solid-state NMR spectroscopy.
