- The patient's symptoms resolved rapidly following pantoprazole withdrawal and topical corticosteroid treatment.
- Extensive investigations excluded infectious causes for the observed dermatological and mucosal reactions.
- The clinical presentation and rapid improvement upon drug cessation strongly suggest a hypersensitivity reaction to pantoprazole.
