Summary

Targeting serotonin 6 (5-HT6) receptors with inverse agonists or disrupting their interaction with mTOR may alleviate diabetic neuropathic pain and cognitive deficits. This study highlights the role of 5-HT6 receptor activity in pain and cognition.
