Using a 3D visualization system for pars plana vitrectomy (PPV) allows for the successful treatment of rhegmatogenous retinal detachment (RRD) without perfluorocarbon liquid (PFCL). This approach simplifies surgery, reduces operation time, and avoids PFCL-related complications.
