Traditional Chinese medicine patterns in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients were classified using cluster and factor analysis. Heat pattern RA patients exhibited higher disease activity and were more likely to receive combined disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (DMARDs) and methotrexate (MTX).
