Rear-facing child safety seat effectiveness: evidence from motor vehicle crash data

Children in rear-facing car safety seats (CSS) experience fewer injuries in motor vehicle crashes (MVCs). This study confirms rear-facing CSS use is safer for young children, aligning with updated safety guidelines.
