Blood flow pattern in eye before development of type 3 macular neovascularization

Abnormal blood flow, or non-exudative macular neovascularization (MNV), can be detected by optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) before exudation appears in type 3 MNV eyes. This finding aids in early detection and treatment of MNV.

- Non-exudative MNV is detectable by OCTA before exudation in type 3 MNV.
