No Differences in Auditory Steady-State Responses in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Typically Developing

Auditory steady-state responses (ASSR) do not appear to be a reliable biomarker for autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Researchers found no significant differences in auditory processing between children with ASD and typically developing children.

- Further research is needed to understand auditory processing differences in ASD.
