Can thiamine substitution restore cognitive function in alcohol use disorder?

Thiamine substitution (TS) improves cognitive function in alcohol use disorder (AUD) patients. Oral TS is effective, even without preceding intravenous treatment, helping prevent cognitive decline in AUD.
