Summary

Central auditory processing dysfunction, measured by the dichotic digit test-1 digit (DDT1), is present in cognitively normal older adults with preclinical Alzheimer's disease (AD) beta-amyloid deposition. The DDT1 shows potential as an early screening tool for AD.
