Can CBC Profile and Liver Function Test Predict Chronic Kidney Disease among a Normal Population?

This study found a high prevalence of chronic kidney disease (CKD) in northern Iran, particularly in women. Low Mean Corpuscular Volume (MCV) and lymphocyte counts, along with high Blood Urea Nitrogen (BUN), are significant predictors of CKD.
