A Lead Target Molecule for Excisional Wound Healing: Trypthantrin Compound

Summary

Tryptanthrin (TRP) significantly accelerated wound healing in mice, with a 94% closure rate at the highest dose. This compound promoted healing without scarring by influencing vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) levels.
