Lp(a) does not affect intima media thickness in hypercholesterolemic children -a retrospective cross sectional study

In children and adolescents with high cholesterol, high levels of LDL-C and Lp(a) did not show significant differences in early atherosclerosis markers. No synergistic effects were detected between these lipoproteins in this age group.
