This study reviews collaborative assessment methods (CAMs) and evaluates their effectiveness on long-term treatment outcomes. CAMs involve working with clients throughout the assessment process, from goal setting to interpreting results. The authors conducted a meta-analysis of published studies to assess how these methods affect treatment processes, personal growth, and symptom reduction.
