Summary

A new CRISPR-assisted diagnostic test, CATSH, offers sensitive and specific detection of Schistosoma haematobium eggs in urine within two hours. This innovation aids in the global effort to eliminate schistosomiasis, a neglected tropical disease, especially in resource-limited settings.
