Summary

The live attenuated yellow fever virus (YFV) vaccine (LA-YF-Vax) temporarily reduces T-cell receptor (TCR) signaling and protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type E (PTPRE) levels. Serum extracellular vesicles from vaccinated individuals mediate this effect, explaining some beneficial outcomes of live vaccines.
