Background:

Developing effective virtual nursing interventions is crucial for supporting patients with chronic conditions like HIV.
Web-based, tailored, and asynchronous approaches offer unique opportunities for patient engagement.
Relational connections are vital for adherence to antiretroviral treatment (ART) in people living with HIV (PLWHIV).

Purpose of the Study:

To reflect on the development of relational connections within a specific web-based nursing intervention (VIH-TAVIE™).
To introduce and describe the Relational Virtual Nursing Practice Model.
To contribute to conceptual nursing knowledge regarding meaningful relational care in virtual settings.

Discussion paper format, synthesizing experiences from nurse-researchers and PLWHIV.
Drawing upon established nursing theories and cross-disciplinary work on relational engagement.
