This study investigated hypersensitivity to topical antibacterials in 390 patients. Nitrofurazone and neomycin were common sensitizers, while sodium fusidate and chlorhexidine were less frequent. Cross-sensitivity occurred between neomycin, framycetin, and gentamicin.
