Summary

This first-in-human study shows Dystrophin Expressing Chimeric (DEC) cell therapy is safe for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) patients. The novel therapy improved muscle function and strength without adverse events, offering a potential new treatment for DMD.
