Psychopathology in paraneoplastic encephalopathy: an electroclinical observation
The Journal of Clinical Psychiatry
|May 1, 1986
Abstract:
The psychopathologic, electroclinical, and pathologic signs in a patient suffering from paraneoplastic encephalomyelopathy are discussed. The occurrence of the syndrome is stressed since this topic is scarcely mentioned in the psychiatric literature. If mental disturbances are particularly prominent, as is often the case in limbic involvement, they may lead to referral to a psychiatric ward and even diagnostic error.
