    Background:

    • The common bile duct (CBD) is a crucial anatomical structure in the biliary system.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To determine the visibility rate and mean diameter of the common bile duct (CBD) using routine abdominal CT.
    • To compare CBD visibility and diameter in healthy versus ill patients, and in patients with and without a history of cholecystectomy.
    • To evaluate the potential of CT for visualizing the CBD more effectively than previously reported.
