Summary

Retesting borderline SARS-CoV-2 patients with inconclusive PCR results is vital. Nearly 30% of these patients converted to positive within seven days, reducing hospital transmission risks.

Background:

  • To evaluate the positivity conversion rate in borderline SARS-CoV-2 patients with inconclusive PCR results.
  • To assess the clinical utility of follow-up testing within seven days.
