    Summary

    A shaped filter did not improve chest infiltrate detection compared to conventional imaging. However, nodule detection performance was slightly worse with the shaped filter system.

    Background:

    • Accurate detection of pulmonary nodules and infiltrates is crucial for diagnosing lung diseases.

    • To evaluate the effectiveness of a shaped filter in enhancing nodule and infiltrate detection on chest radiographs.
