[The functional state of platelets in kidney cancer]

Abstract:

Dynamic function of thrombocytes was studied in 75 cases of renal cancer. Enhanced thrombocytic hemostasis registered in patients with stage I-II tumor was matched by a low-level thrombocytic function with concomitant thrombocythemia at stages III-IV. These findings may be useful in prevention and treatment of thrombohemorrhagic complications in renal cancer.
