Voprosy Pitaniia
|March 1, 1986
Abstract:
Patients treated at a gastroenterological sanatorium were studied with respect to their food status according to a specially developed table for measuring their skin-fat fold. Excessive body weight and obesity were recorded in 26.7 and 24.6% of the patients, respectively. The underweight patients comprised only 7.2%. Statistically significant obesity (P less than 0.05) was more often observed in women than in men (28.2 and 13.6%, respectively).
