Repeat stereotactic body radiotherapy for oligometastatic disease

Repeat stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) for oligometastatic disease (OMD) shows shorter progression-free survival but longer overall survival. Further research is needed to identify patients who benefit most from repeat SBRT.

- Despite shorter PFS, repeat SBRT in OMD patients is associated with longer OS.
- Further prospective studies are warranted to identify predictive factors for selecting patients who may benefit from repeat SBRT.
