Intranasal Insulin for the Treatment of Persistent Post-COVID-19 Olfactory Dysfunction

Intranasal insulin rapidly improved sense of smell in patients with persistent post-COVID-19 olfactory dysfunction. This treatment using neutral protamine Hagedorn (NPH) insulin appears safe and effective for olfactory dysfunction.
