Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)-guided biliary drainage is a viable alternative to endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) for malignant biliary obstruction. Emerging evidence shows EUS techniques are non-inferior, potentially superior, for palliation.
