The relationship between major depression and migraine: A bidirectional two-sample Mendelian randomization study.

Major depressive disorder (MDD) causally increases the risk of migraine, including migraine with aura (MA) and migraine without aura (MO). The reverse relationship, where migraine increases MDD risk, was not supported by this genetic analysis.
