Pupillary elongation after anterior chamber lens implantation
Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery
|May 1, 1986
Abstract:
Pupillary elongation was seen along the lens loop in four of 12 eyes that had Simcoe-SAC3 lenses and two of six eyes with Kelman-MT3 lenses. Gonioscopy, especially in the eyes with the Simcoe lens, showed the iris overriding a lens loop, with goniosynechias and scattered pigmentation in the angle. Argon laser photocoagulation of the overriding iris was ineffective.
