The Journal of Otolaryngology
|April 1, 1986
Abstract:
Five children with acquired subglottic stenosis were successfully decannulated utilizing a modification of the Evans and Todd "Swiss roll" technique. Modifications including laryngofissure from within the lumen, midline tracheocricoid incision, and posterior cricoid cartilage split seem to be beneficial. There are still problems with postoperative granulations.
