Journal of Vascular Surgery
|June 1, 1986
Abstract:
A 36-year-old woman with chronic venous insufficiency of the lower extremities underwent successful venous valve reconstruction with prosthetic bovine monocusp patches in the superficial femoral and great saphenous veins. Postoperative valvular competence is evident in Doppler studies, photoplethysmography, phlebography, and clinical improvement after a 15-month follow-up.
