    Area of Science:

    • Oncology
    • Pulmonology

    Background:

    • Hodgkin's disease is a cancer of the lymphatic system.
    • Pulmonary involvement can occur in Hodgkin's disease.

    Observation:

    • A case study of a patient with Hodgkin's disease and lung involvement is presented.
    • Diagnosis was confirmed through sputum analysis.

    Findings:

    • Reed-Sternberg cells were identified in the patient's sputum.
    • This confirmed the presence of Hodgkin's disease in the lungs.

    Implications:

    • Sputum analysis can be a valuable diagnostic tool for pulmonary involvement in Hodgkin's disease.
    • Early diagnosis of lung involvement can lead to timely treatment.
