Abstract:
Tuning of surface coils is often difficult to accomplish in vivo since the exact coil loading is impossible to predict in advance. This technical difficulty was obviated through use of a transmission line matching scheme. This technique has been successfully used at a variety of frequencies for imaging and spectroscopy.
