Summary

This study found that a modified dropless protocol using subconjunctival and posterior sub-Tenon's injections is a safe alternative to eye drops for micro-incision vitrectomy surgery (MIVS). No cases of endophthalmitis were observed, demonstrating the efficacy of this approach.
