Abstract:
Primary small cell neuroendocrine carcinoma of endometrium is very rare and aggressive carcinoma. Most patients present with metastases at the time of diagnosis and have very poor prognosis. Only very few cases are reported in literature. Here we present a case of 67-year-old woman, who on evaluation for mild pain abdomen was subsequently diagnosed to have metastatic small cell neuroendocrine carcinoma of endometrium on PET/CT scan and biopsy.
