Value of Routine Troponin Measurement in Open Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair

Elevated troponin after open abdominal aortic aneurysm repair indicates higher 30-day myocardial infarction risk and lower survival. Routine troponin checks did not reduce 3-year mortality in this study.
