1Judith Sands, MSL, BSN, RN, CPHRM, CPHQ, CCM, ARM, is a passionate and accomplished relationship-focused leader with more than 30 years of experience working in academia, hospitals, managed care, specialty networks, and health IT organizations. Ms. Sands is the author of Home Hospice Navigation: The Caregiver's Guide , the only independently produced caregiving resource for making home hospice understandable to caregivers. Ms. Sands earned a bachelor of science in nursing degree from the University of Florida and her master of science in leadership from Nova Southeastern University. Ms. Sands is a registered nurse, holding state and national certifications in case, quality, and risk management. She presented at various local and national conferences.
