Different ureteral access sheaths sizes for retrograde intrarenal surgery

This study found no significant difference in stone-free rates between 10/12 and 12/14 Charr. ureteral access sheaths during laser lithotripsy. However, the 10/12 Charr. sheaths required more laser energy and duration without increasing complications.

- While smaller sheaths (10/12 Charr.) necessitate increased laser parameters, they do not elevate the risk of clinical complications such as trauma or inflammation.
