From idea to systems solution: enhancing access to primary care in Malawi

• To analyze how this citizen-initiated innovation extended health information access and service-seeking behavior.
• To examine the institutional changes and the role of "institutional entrepreneurs" in this process.

• An interdisciplinary, multi-method qualitative case study was employed.
• Data collection included key informant interviews, observations, and document analysis over 18 months.
