Staged Treatment with Root Coverage Procedure Prior to Socket Shield: A Clinical Case Report

After performing a tunneling mucogingival surgery procedure to cover generalized root recession in the anterior maxilla, a socket shield procedure was performed for immediate implant placement on a lateral incisor, leaving a root fragment coronal to the buccal bone margin with a long soft tissue attachment.
