Rotational thromboelastometry (ROTEM) reveals diverse coagulation disorders in sepsis, including hypercoagulation and hyperfibrinolysis, often missed by conventional tests. Sepsis shock patients showed more hypocoagulation, and non-survivors had prolonged clotting times.
