  • Epithelioid hemangioma is a rare, benign vascular neoplasm.
  • Penile occurrence is exceptionally infrequent, with limited documented cases.

Observation:

  • A 64-year-old male presented with a painful penile mass causing erectile dysfunction.
  • Physical examination revealed a subcutaneous nodule; ultrasound showed a 10mm homogeneous lesion.
  • The lesion was located superficially to the tunica albuginea of the corpora cavernosa without intralesional blood flow.

Findings:

  • Surgical excision of the penile epithelioid hemangioma was successfully performed.
  • Histopathological examination confirmed the diagnosis of epithelioid hemangioma.
  • The patient experienced complete pain resolution and maintained erectile function post-surgery.

Implications:

  • This case highlights the importance of considering epithelioid hemangioma in the differential diagnosis of penile masses.
  • Complete surgical excision appears to be a curative treatment with no observed recurrence or metastasis.
  • Further understanding of penile subcutaneous masses and their differential diagnosis is crucial for effective management.
