Summary

Binasal prongs significantly reduce the need for intubation in premature newborns during delivery room resuscitation. This method is more effective than face masks for neonatal resuscitation, lowering intubation rates at both birth and 6 hours of life.

  • To compare the intubation rates between binasal prongs and face masks for delivery room resuscitation in neonates born before 30 weeks' gestation.
