Common Postauricular Swelling Diagnosed as rare Kimura Disease

Kimura disease is a rare benign chronic inflammatory condition of unknown aetiology that causes the subcutaneous tissue of head and neck to become swollen. It is more common in males, primarily seen in young Asian [1]. Here we are going to present a rare case report of 49 years old male diagnosed as kimura disease with a common presentation of postauricular swelling. It is characterised by peripheral eosinophilia FNAC suggestive of polymorphous population of lymphocytes, centrocytes, plasma cells, neutrophils and occasional eosinophils. Diagnosis confirmed by histopathological examination.
